Visual Design & Motion Graphic | Spring 2019
Using the '2 Cities 2 Poems' research project and expanding its meaning as an activist artist in the 21st century through visual communication by creating motion based on data & text researched between the 1960's through today in 2019.
Approaching the topic
Through a combination of motion graphics, music, and a visual climax, the poem was brought to life to communicate energy and 'life' through this process.
Poem by Bob Hicok from New York Times inspired to create this motion graphic! Although the contents convey the seriousness of the climate change... Exploring through different gestures of illustrations created through use of extensions, collaboration with music that matches well with the motion, I focused on bringing back hope to those feeling relentless from destruction of the worlds climate change.
